When you see ICE agents in your community, blow your whistle. This alerts your neighbors to come out and help by legally observing ICE agents. ICE agents rely on surprise and often retreat when a crowd gathers.
Three SHORT bursts: "ICE is nearby"
PRE-PRE-PRE!
PRE-PRE-PRE!
Three LONG bursts: "ICE is kidnapping someone"
PREEEEEEEE-PREEEEEEEE-PREEEEEEEE!
PREEEEEEEE-PREEEEEEEE-PREEEEEEEE!
Keep your whistle accessible – on your keychain, in your bag, or worn visibly. A whistle in a drawer cannot help anyone.
Important: Only use your whistle when you actually see ICE agents. Whistles are disruptive to everyday life if they are not alerting people to actual danger.
